I was catching up on some of the blogs that I read and thought I would share my thoughts with you. Melissa, a guest blogger over at Book Binge, has been reviewing LKH’s Anita Blake series. For those of you who don’t know who she is LKH = Laurell K. Hamilton, one of my all time favorite authors! I’ve written about her before and I’m sure I will again. Melissa has enjoyed the first two books in the series and I’ve enjoyed her reviews of them. Even though I’ve read this series numerous times, its interesting to read someone’s opinion who is new to it.
After reading Melissa’s review on Book Binge, I read LKH’s blog entry for today. I enjoy her blog because she discusses her writing process and whats happening with the characters in the current story she’s writing. Todays entry did not disappoint. She is in the process of writing the latest Merry Gentry book and Merry has decided that the story should go in a different direction than LKH had planned.
What did we do before we had this venue to share our thoughts? How did we manage before we were able to have such close contact to the authors we love? These two blog entries today reminded me how much I treasure being able to discuss and read about other’s thoughts on books. I can’t always be in a book club and blogs have allowed me to get my book fix anyway. 
So, to all of you bloggers out there, keep up the good work, you deserve a gold star!

It’s funny, because I was just thinking about this. I love we have this community here who can discuss and share our thoughts on books. It’s wonderful, isn’t it?
